A widely shared video reveals the Australian man bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors walked down a promenade flanked by fans. Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the premiere by security officers. Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though court documents showed that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action. Pattern of Disruptions This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December. "There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his act. "You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked. Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety Numerous followers blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many. "The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further message on Instagram. Some attendees also faulted security officers at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos. Aftermath and Premiere Information In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards. Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues. Hundreds of Singapore fans had lined up to greet the actors of Wicked Hundreds of attendees had assembled in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it commenced. The movie, to be released on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a two-film adaptation of the acclaimed theatrical musical Wicked, which revolves around the surprising relationship between two very different sorceresses. The production itself is a spin-off of the 1900 children's novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses. They were accompanied by co-star Jeff Goldblum. The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, securing several for outstanding attire and artistic direction.
